of interns, emergency room, hospital and clinic consultations, and neuropsychological

Probation Department: Psychological evaluation and testing of juvenile penal
offenders to provide court and probation officers with psychological consultation
on issues of dangerousness, personality dynamics, and neuropsychological
dysfunction,and disposition planning; court testimony as expert witness; weekly
consultation to the County Children’s Shelter; crisis intervention; family and

A five-month intensive training experience working conjointly with families
and couples. It included a weekly seminar/case conference on the use of the
Halstead-Reitan and the Luria test batteries for neuropsychological assessment.
9/76 - 2/77 Psychology Intern, Drug Dependence Evaluation Ward, V.A. Hospital,
Menlo Park, California: This six-month rotation provided supervised
experience as a staff member in a therapeutic community whose primary
mission was to facilitate resident entry into longer-term treatment settings.
Duties included conducting four weekly group therapy sessions, treatment
planning, and primary responsibility for alcohol referrals.
